Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta, would like to engage a Process Engineer. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead initiatives for cost reduction and manufacturing excellence, including 6 Sigma projects.
- Enhance process yields and maximise machine uptime.
- Provide assistance in machine overhauls and ensure routine maintenance of all equipment.
- Coordinate directly with the Production Department to schedule and carry out maintenance activities, whether it's breakdown and repair, scheduled, or preventive, in process areas.
- Take the lead in material qualification and facilitate the introduction of new processes and machinery in the manufacturing area.
- Optimise tool designs to enhance productivity and improve yields.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations based on job descriptions to assess competency and knowledge.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0800hrs - 1700hrs
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a process engineer
- Familiarity with state health and safety regulations
- Analytical thinker
- Hold excellent level of written and verbal English
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
