Manufacturing Operations Manager (FMCG)

A local, well-established Company operating within the FMCG industry is searching for an Operations Manager to continue strengthening their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee bottling and packaging operations.
• Manage inventory and warehousing to ensure accurate stock handling and counts.
• Supervise distribution and logistics for safe and efficient order fulfilment.
• Implement and monitor quality control and performance across operations.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Lead and develop the operations team, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate training for bottling, warehouse, logistics, and maintenance staff.
• Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Define and track KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, inventory accuracy).
• Prepare monthly operational reports and present to the Purchasing & Operations Director.
• Provide technical input across business areas, beyond direct scope when needed.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Requirements

• Candidates must be working in Malta already
• Strong team player, energetic, driven, and self-motivated
• Strong diagnostic skills in equipment with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations management
• In additon to the above, experience within HoReCa and/or the wine sector is highly desirable
