Our Client, an international company, is seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in managing large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the development of multi-storey buildings and extensive experience coordinating with the Planning Authority and other regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a major construction project, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Manage all phases of project delivery from initial design coordination and permitting to construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Liaise directly with the Planning Authority, local councils, and other regulatory entities to secure necessary permits, ensure compliance, and manage project approvals.
- Supervise site activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, promoting clear communication and accountability.
- Identify potential risks or delays and proactively implement corrective actions.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects with over 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local planning and building regulations, with hands-on experience liaising with the Malta Planning Authority.
- Excellent English and attention to detail
- The chosen profile must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in project management tools and MS Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field will be considered as an asset.
