Business Development Manager

  Central Malta

Our client who specializes in the healthcare industry is looking for a Business Development Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:  

  • Assisting MD in developing strategies and implementations 
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Project managing key projects of the company while focusing on driving growth and achieving sales and profit objectives
  • Building and developing strong relationships with new clients, suppliers and maintaining existing ones, both locally and overseas
  • Co-ordinating with managers to achieve set goals and objectives
  • Preparing proposals, tenders and pricing for submission to clients, ensuring all client proposals are in line with company policies and procedures
  • Developing and negotiating contracts whilst integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Evaluating performance by analysing data and metrics

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Tendering knowledge would be ideal
  • Background in medical or healthcare would be an asset but not a prerequisite

Education and Experience

  • Ideally educated to a degree level (Commercial, Business Admin or equivalent) or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
