We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Marine Technical Assistant to assist the Ship Superintendent. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

Maintain documents and reports as requested including vessel certifications and crew certifications.
Responsible of the technical procurement
Provide administrative support for the Superintendent
Maintain filing systems
Communicate with related authorities
Ensure that officers onboarding documents, entries and reporting are in line with the regulations

Qualifications:

A related qualification in Marine
Local experience is a must
Candidates with experience within the marine industry will be given preference
Technical experience is a plus
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks whilst also working independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be in possession of a driving license
