Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Our client is an upcoming construction and development company. The company is being managed in a professional and corporate manner and prides in a high quality product offering. They are now seeking a Chief Operations Officer with experience in construction and development who is ambitious, focused and ready to lead a highly functional team whilst being the right hand wo/man of the Managing Director.

The Role

• The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the operational success, growth, and strategic execution of the company’s large-scale construction and property development projects. 
• The COO will oversee the entire project lifecycle from site acquisition and feasibility through to design, funding, and construction delivery ensuring that every development achieves maximum commercial return and aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
• S/he will lead a strong and experienced management team, each member responsible for key aspects of the business, including site identification and acquisition, financial evaluation, securing funding, coordinating with architects and planners, managing approvals with authorities and regulators, and ensuring all pre-construction requirements are in place. 
• Under his/her direction, this team will also manage the second phase of operations preparing sites for development, appointing project managers and contractors, establishing timelines and milestones, and driving efficient and high-quality project execution from start to finish.
• The COO will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across all departments, ensuring that operational systems, processes, and people are aligned to deliver strong project outcomes and sustained profitability.
