Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager to assists the Operations Manager in overseeing sales, operations, and compliance with other airline partners. This role involves collaboration with airline principals, travel partners, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities
Contribute to achieving sales targets by monitoring market trends, preparing reports, and engaging with travel agencies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and corporate clients.
Manage and resolve escalated customer or agent queries in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and training sessions.
Oversee the daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Supervise office staff and serve as Acting Manager during the Operations Manager’s absence.
Monitor BSP processes, revenue reporting, and additional income streams related to airline partners.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, financial results, and operational metrics for airline principals.
Requirements
In-depth understanding of airline and GSA sales operations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven analytical abilities with experience in sales and financial reporting.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.).
Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Aviation, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the airline, GSA, or travel industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
Sound knowledge of IATA, BSP, and airline industry compliance standards.
