Social Media Executive

Our client within the legal sector is looking for a Social Media Executive to join their team. This person will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the company’s multi-brand social media presence and online communities. The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, supporting wider marketing initiatives, and driving meaningful engagement across all digital platforms.

This position requires a creative and data-driven individual who can produce visually engaging content—including videos, reels, and trend-led assets—while monitoring channel performance, analysing results, and continuously optimising strategies to drive growth and audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor industry developments and benchmark performance to ensure a competitive and current digital approach.
  • Create, curate, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms, including text, visuals, videos, reels, and trend-driven formats.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team and other internal departments to maintain brand consistency and meet campaign goals.
  • Support website content updates and management when required.
  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of online campaigns, promotions, contests, and events to drive engagement.
  • Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to extend campaign reach and visibility.
  • Work closely with the Website & Digital Specialist to manage external platforms, ensure content accuracy, and respond to community enquiries.
  • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, including A/B testing, targeting, budget management, and performance optimisation.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for marketing activities, including approvals, file organisation, and preparation of internal materials.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and delivering digital campaigns with measurable results, coming from a corporate environment. 
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills with a strong ability to create engaging content.
  • Solid understanding of current social media trends, AI tools, AEO, and digital best practices.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on, day-to-day social media execution.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and a basic understanding of paid social and lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience working with influencers, online communities, and basic graphic design or video editing tools.
  • Knowledge of AEO, content optimisation, and social media brand reputation management.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with CMS platforms is considered a plus.
