A well-established group of Companies specialising in Business & Commercial Services, is searching to recruit a Marketing Officer. Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will contribute to the strategic marketing that involves strengthening reach both locally and internationally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and update social media channels to maintain audience engagement in line with brand identity.
- Create compelling copy and press releases for marketing and branding initiatives.
- Upload and manage website content, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, SEO, web, and business development teams for effective campaigns.
- Support email marketing efforts, including newsletter creation and subscriber list management.
- Track and analyse key metrics to evaluate digital marketing performance.
- Assist with the creation of branded materials and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate with publishers for online and offline article placements.
- Develop strong knowledge of clients, services, competitors, and industry to support strategic marketing and growth.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00, Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ of local experience in a similar marketing role
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, plan ahead, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor content for various platforms and audiences
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and related analytics
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics, generate reports, and provide insights
- Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices is an asset
- Proficient in online design tools like Canva
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and own projects
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented attitude
Education and Experience
- Hold a Qualification in Marketing or a related certification
