Our client is looking for a German/French/English Speaking Events Executive to join their growing team.
This role plays a key role in driving revenue and supporting the delivery of a creative, high-quality, and profitable events programme. The role combines sales support, client engagement, event coordination, and operational assistance, requiring strong collaboration within the team as well as the ability to achieve individual performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth in line with the company’s business plan and sales targets.
- Maximise sales performance through effective selling techniques and timely follow-up.
- Respond to all client enquiries within 24 hours.
- Prepare accurate quotations, coordinate with internal teams, and close sales professionally.
- Support the achievement of budgeted revenue and profit margins.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports to the General Manager on time.
- Maintain accurate, well-organised client records and filing systems.
- Provide general administrative and office support as required.
- Create, distribute, and monitor agent mailers, following up on all leads generated.
- Attend and support travel fairs, exhibitions, and sales trips as required.
- Assist with planning and preparation for fairs and trips, including appointments, marketing materials, and logistics.
- Follow up on all leads generated from fairs and sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing timely and accurate information.
- Host and accompany clients on inspection and familiarisation visits.
- Develop, cost, and support the delivery of creative and innovative event concepts.
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities align with and enhance the brand.
- Support the operations team to deliver consistently high service standards.
- Coordinate logistics for confirmed events and manage delegate enquiries professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and support rate negotiations.
- Take responsibility for delegate welfare during events when required, including safety oversight and on-site coordination.
- Support marketing initiatives by capturing event content, promoting social media activity, encouraging client reviews, and contributing creative ideas.
- Represent and promote the company professionally at all times, including at public events.
- Stay informed on competitors, industry trends, and sales best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, corporate standards, and relevant legislation.
- Participate in meetings and training as agreed with the General Manager.
- Support additional activities that contribute to the organisation’s success and reputation.
- Adhere to company standards on appearance, conduct, and hygiene.
- Remain flexible to work outside standard hours when business needs require.
Requirements:
- Professional working proficiency in English including German and/or French.
- Valid local driving licence.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate initiative.
- Creative approach with the ability to contribute innovative ideas.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in the weekends when required.
- Experience within a Destination Management Company (DMC), events, or hospitality environment.
- Marketing experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Minimum A-Level education or equivalent qualification.
