Our client operating in the Payments industry, is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, manage website content through CMS tools, and drive SEO/SEM strategies to boost visibility, traffic, and lead generation. You’ll collaborate across teams to craft optimized content, analyze performance data, and continuously improve the company's digital presence. Your main duties will be to:
- Plan, launch, and manage digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, social media, email, and display networks.
- Maintain and update website content using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Develop and optimize SEO and SEM strategies to enhance organic search visibility and website performance.
- Create or oversee the production of SEO-friendly content including blog posts, news updates, and web copy.
- Conduct keyword research and implement best practices for on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, alt text, etc.).
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign and content performance, providing insights for improvement.
- Design and execute backlink acquisition strategies to strengthen domain authority.
- Improve site architecture, page speed, and mobile performance to maximize search engine rankings.
- Collaborate on managing Google Ads campaigns and use analytics tools (especially Google Analytics) to measure effectiveness.
- Stay informed about emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
- Support lead generation and customer engagement through marketing automation and CRM platforms.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SEO and SEA, with hands-on experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Search Console.
- Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and CMS platforms, preferably WordPress.
- Experience with email marketing and automation tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with high-level professional proficiency.
- Native level of Maltese is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
