Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Production Line Process Engineer within their Probes Department. Your main responsibilities will be to:
Deliver frontline technical support to the Probes Production Department by monitoring processes and machine settings and initiating Job Requests when required.
Improve production processes, workflows, and work practices using Lean principles to enhance safety, efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
Work closely with the Technical team to identify process improvement opportunities and develop effective solutions.
Evaluate manufacturing processes through data analysis, measurement, and time studies to support continuous improvement.
Manage and support assigned Process Engineering projects, ensuring successful implementation and handover of new production systems and equipment.
Design and develop small jigs and semi-automated solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
Contribute to technical sourcing, cost estimation, and project implementation activities.
Create and maintain standard work, procedures, and operational documentation.
Coordinate the commissioning and transition of new process equipment into production.
Assist with materials control and basic production activities using SAP and ERP systems.
Requirements
Experience designing and building small automated or semi-automated equipment for manufacturing applications.
Skilled in process mapping, time studies, and industrial engineering analysis tools.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their practical implementation.
Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent level of English is a must; Maltese is preferred.
