Machine Setter

One of our clients within the manufacturing industry are looking for a Machine Setter who will join their team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and configure injection molding machines for production runs according to specifications;
• Fit, secure, and align molds to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output;
• Regulate and fine-tune machine parameters to maximize performance;
• Carry out test runs and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards;
• Monitor operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistency throughout production;
• Comply with all safety guidelines while sustaining a clean and organized work area;
• Work closely with supervisors and maintenance teams to identify and resolve machine or process issues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in setting up and operating injection molding machines.
• In-depth knowledge of plastics and their material properties.
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on producing high-quality products.
• Excellent English communication skills. Maltese is considered an asset
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience

• Certification in Injection Molding is a plus.
