Our client, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, is looking for a Machine Setter to join their growing team. Reporting to the Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for operating Identity machines on shop floor area safely and timely in such a way that customer delivery dates are met.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring adherence to batch control procedures during machine operations to guarantee accurate quantities throughout the production processes.
Undertaking any additional responsibilities as delegated by the process leader and Front Line Manager.
Conducting real-time inspections on products to uphold quality standards and prevent compromises.
Performing routine maintenance tasks on machines to uphold their reliability on a daily basis.
Offering guidance and assistance to fellow team members operating the machines.
Timely requisition of identity components from the Materials Control Team.
Conducting training sessions for new Process Operatives/Assistants to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
Comprehending customer requirements outlined in factory work instructions.
Understanding the master production schedule for Identity and operating machines to surpass daily targets.
Regularly updating production records to reflect quantities produced and efficiency levels.
This role provides a balanced work-life schedule, operating on a 3-shift rotation across 5 days per week + yearly allowances.
Week 1: 0600hrs - 1400hrs
Week 2: 1400hrs - 2200hrs
Week 3: 2200hrs - 0600hrs

Requirements
Have a minimum of 2 years of local experience in a manufacturing environment.
Possessing technical knowledge to proficiently operate industrial machines and technologies.
Capacity building through the transfer of acquired skills to fellow team members.

Exhibiting keen attention to detail in all tasks.
