Our client, an international Law firm is looking to recruit Tax Lawyers at all levels.
Main responsibilities :
Providing tax, legal, and business advisory services to clients, ensuring their best interests are upheld in alignment with the Firm’s high standards of professional practice.
Serving as an active contributor within the Firm’s Tax Practice Group by sharing expertise and insights, particularly in tax law, with partners and colleagues.
Delivering tax advisory support on commercial transactions, with a focus on interpreting Maltese and EU VAT legislation, as well as Maltese direct tax laws.
Advising on tax-related legal issues in transactional, contentious, and strategic planning matters, as required.
Contributing to the ongoing development of the Firm’s tax and legal expertise, enhancing its reputation and supporting business growth initiatives.
Fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment consistent with the Firm’s core values.
Requirements
At least two years of experience in tax advisory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines independently.
Education and Experience
A Degree in Law from the University of Malta
A Diploma or Master’s degree in Tax Law (considered an asset).
