Our client, a well established CSP, is seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Advisor to join their legal team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Providing expert legal and regulatory advice to iGaming clients and other regulated industries mainly on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
- Liaising with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients
- Supporting clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, restructuring and other commercial matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements which include service level agreements, supplier contracts, intellectual property and software licensing agreements and other arrangements
- Providing strategic input on risk management, regulatory developments and business opportunities relevant to the iGaming industry and other regulated sectors
- Monitoring local and EU law developments and ensuring timely communication of relevant changes to the rest of the team and clients
- Preparing and delivering client updates, legal briefings and presentations on any related matters
- Collaborating with the rest of the teams to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients
- Mentoring and supporting the junior members of the team
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role ideally within advisory
- Strong knowledge and expertise in commercial and corporate law. Candidates holding gaming exposure will be given preference
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Experience liaising with the regulators
Education and Experience
- Possess a Doctors of Law or Masters of Advocacy and a local warrant
