Litigation Lawyer
Nicosia | €16,900 - €19,500 Annually
On behalf of our client, a reputable law firm we are looking for a Junior Litigation Lawyer to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
Interviews clients and witnesses to gather relevant information and evidence
Conducts legal research and analyzes and interprets laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to each case
Drafts and files legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
Assists in preparing and presenting arguments in court, addressing judges, opposing counsel, and other parties
Supports the development of case strategies and provides legal advice to clients under supervision
Participates in settlement negotiations, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution processes
Collaborates with colleagues, experts, and consultants to support case preparation
Manages assigned case-related tasks, including documentation, deadlines, and court appearances
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with clients and internal staff
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language is essential
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
Professional demeanour and ability to work well in a team environment
Proficiency in legal research tools and software
Education and Experience
University Degree in Law
1–2 years of relevant working experience in litigation or legal practice
