Our client, an international Law firm is looking to recruit Litigation Lawyers at all levels.
Main responsibilities include :
- Carrying out preliminary case investigations and evaluations to assess legal strategies and case feasibility;
- Engaging in pre-litigation settlement discussions to achieve efficient resolutions;
- Preparing, drafting, and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal submissions;
- Gathering, reviewing, and analysing witness statements for evidentiary purposes;
- Representing clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration;
- Leveraging legal expertise and precedent to advocate effectively in matters;
- Conducting legal research and handling additional assignments as directed by the Partner or Managing Associate.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience, with a solid background in court litigation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines independently.
Education and Experience
- Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) and admission to practice before the Maltese Bar
