Our client in the Investment Industry is looking for a Legal Counsel, to join their Maltese office, working closely with a legal team based internationally.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Managing negotiations related to equity issuances, reductions, buybacks, and dividend distributions
Supporting the preparation of cashflow reconciliation letters
Leading on corporate governance matters, including director resignations and amendments to company details
Maintaining company registers and contract records
Preparing documentation to support corporate reorganisations and/or solvent liquidations
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with previous legal work experience with English Corporate Law
Strong understanding of English Corporate Law
Candidates must have Company Secretarial experience (Companies Act requirements and filing at Companies House)
