Our client in the Investment Industry is looking for a Legal Counsel, to join their Maltese office, working closely with a legal team based internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Managing negotiations related to equity issuances, reductions, buybacks, and dividend distributions
- Supporting the preparation of cashflow reconciliation letters
- Leading on corporate governance matters, including director resignations and amendments to company details
- Maintaining company registers and contract records
- Preparing documentation to support corporate reorganisations and/or solvent liquidations
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with previous legal work experience with English Corporate Law
- Strong understanding of English Corporate Law
Education and Experience
- A Qualified British Lawyer
