A well-established firm is looking to recruit an Associate to join their team. You will get the opportunity to gain exposure to corporate and commercial law whilst dealing with a range of clients operating in various industries
Advise on and draft a wide range of corporate and commercial documents, including contracts and shareholder agreements.
Assist in corporate transactions, namely mergers and acquisitions, and legal due diligence exercises.
Provide practical legal advice on company law, commercial obligations, and regulatory compliance.
Support and, where required, take the lead in commercial and corporate disputes, including shareholder conflicts, contractual claims, and insolvency-related proceedings.
Conduct legal research, prepare opinions and memos and, where necessary, contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
Fluency in Maltese and English
1–2 years’ of local experience in a commercial or corporate law
communication, Excellent organisational, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
Education and Experience
Locally warranted lawyer or in the process of being warranted
