Our client within the public sector is looking for Lawyers/Notaries to join their team
Responsibilities:
Legal:
Provide legal advice across the organisation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Manage litigation and support senior leadership on legal matters
Review, draft, and advise on contracts and legal documents
Conduct legal research and offer guidance on regulatory, contractual, and data protection issues
Liaise with external legal advisors as needed
Notarial:
Draft, review, and oversee legal documents and contracts
Handle notarial duties including vetting, drafting, and related calculations
Support contract signings and ensure proper documentation processes
Maintain notarial records and manage post-signing procedures
Provide guidance on notarial and procedural matters
Requirements
In possession of a Law Degree with Warrant to practice in the Courts of Malta and Gozo, and one (1) year experience working in the legal or notarial field. OR - In possession of a Law Degree, and, in the process of obtaining said warrant, to practice as an Advocate or Notary in the Courts of Malta and Gozo, and two (2) years’ experience working in the legal and notarial field.
