Lawyer (Financial Services)

  Central Malta  |  €23,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading CSP is looking to expand their legal department with the addition of a seasoned Lawyer specializing on the Financial Services industry:

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing and updating legal instruments
  • Assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures with respect to regulatory requirements our clients have to satisfy
  • Assisting with compliance issues emanating from the ongoing supervision processes
  • Dealing with specific regulatory issues which may arise periodically
  • Providing regulatory advice to clients in the financial services industry
  • Collaborating with various professionals, from different industries, on numerous transactions related to setting up and supporting financial institutions covering such area as digital assets, raising of finance, fintech and innovation

 

Requirements

  • Previous local experience in a legal/corporate role
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Education and Experience

  • Locally qualified and warranted lawyer
