Our client in the Telecommunications Industry is looking to recruit a Junior Legal Counsel to join their team and be the right hand of the Data Protection Officer.
Responsibilities:
Being responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts, NDAs and documentation
Handling research and advice on business risks and operations
Ensuring that the company contract database in updated
Overseeing documentation
Updating internal contract templates
Drafting internal procedures and policies
Being the right hand of the DPO in terms of training and monitoring procedures
Supporting in the day to day duties
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of local experience working in the legal field or holding an in-house role
Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
Experience in data protection and legal compliance would be an asset
Education and Experience
Qualified and Warranted Lawyer
Candidates who hold local experience and an international warrant/qualifications can be considered
