Our client, forming part of a Group of Companies, is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling and assisting all day-to-day corporate matters across the group
- Offering legal advice
- Supporting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating of agreements
- Being a key part of the development, review and revision of polices and produces
- Supporting with legal updates
- Supporting in the analyses and mitigation of legal and regulatory risks across the whole group
- Handling company secretarial duties, such as preparing, reviewing statutory documents, attending board meetings and drafting minutes
- Providing Data Protection training to all staff
- Supporting in terms of Data Protection matters
- Being the right hand of the Legal Counsel in day to day duties
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role locally
- Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
- Previous Data Protection experience would be an asset
Education and Experience
- A Fully Qualified and Warranted Lawyer
