In-house Lawyer

  Central Malta  |  €30,000 - €80,000 Annually 

Our client, an entity within the Financial Services Industry is seeking to recruit a Lawyer to form part of their in-house team. The appointed individual will be responsible for :

  • Drafting and reviewing of contract
  • Identifying any potential risks to the business in contracts and potential disputes
  • Keeping up to date and guiding internal stakeholders on upcoming regulatory frameworks that may impact the business.These may vary from Regulatory, Corporate, Tax, Commercial and GDPR.
  • Ensuring full compliance within the businesses legal framework.
  • Be involved in drafting and implementing relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist with licensing when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous in a regulated environment within Financial services and Igaming
  • Needs to be a strategic thinker with the ability to convey complex legal matters to non legal personnel
  • Needs to have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in a Corporate, Commercial , Tax or GDPR role will all be considered an asset
  • Fluency in written and spoken english

Education and Experience

  • Must be a qualified Lawyer
