Our client, forming part of a group of companies, is looking for a Data Protection & Compliance Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Data Protection:
Handling and monitoring all data protection policies, privacy notices, and retention schedules
Conducting and reviewing all data protection impact assessments
Being the main point of contact together with the information and data protection commissioner
Handling record of processing activities of personal data in line with GDPR
Compliance:
Developing and reviewing compliance polices and procedures
Ensuring that all is followed according to Maltese regulatory obligations, particularly in consumer protection, corporate governance standards and AML/CFT
Handling risk assessments
Providing compliance training
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years working in Data Protection locally
Previous experience working in compliance, legal is also an asset
