We are looking for an organised and people-focused Occupational Health Supervisor to lead and support our Occupational Health team. This role plays an important part in ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients while promoting employee health and wellbeing.
You will oversee the daily operations of the department, guide the team, and act as the first point of escalation for any issues. This is a hands-on supervisory role where attention to detail, strong coordination, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key.
What You’ll Be Doing
Team Supervision & Support
- Oversee the day-to-day work of Occupational Health Coordinators
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues
- Monitor team performance and ensure service standards are consistently met
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
Operations & Service Delivery
- Ensure all cases are handled accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines
- Monitor department activity, including emails, workflows, and case progress
- Make sure client service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
Medical Data & Documentation
- Oversee the organisation and accuracy of employee medical records
- Ensure all medical data is correctly recorded in internal and client systems
- Supervise follow-ups on medical cases, tests, and special requirements
- Ensure certificates and documentation are issued within agreed timeframes
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track performance indicators and prepare regular reports
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, and propose solutions
- Maintain and update SOPs, processes, and work instructions
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with partner clinics and providers to ensure service quality
- Provide feedback on supplier performance
- Support invoice flow monitoring and related administrative processes
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, insurance (claims), or a related field
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages such as French, Arabic, or Spanish are considered an asset
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good understanding of customer service principles
- Ability to interpret basic medical results is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday from 8am till 5pm
