Our client, an International company, is looking to recruit an Insurance Operations Manager to join their small team.
Our client is an international company that has primarily focused on markets outside of Europe over the years and is now expanding its presence across the European region, with its main office based in Malta. This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with international partners and senior leadership while playing a pivotal role in shaping and developing the company’s back-office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee claims management and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Respond to partner queries and provide clear explanations about products and services.
- Issue insurance quotations, policies, and renewals accurately and on time.
- Negotiate settlements with third-party providers and manage claims resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support insurance distribution through partners outside of Malta when required.
- Take on additional duties to ensure smooth departmental operations
- Act as a Registered Principal Officer with Regulators
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of local experience working within the Insurance Industry, particularly in claims management
- Must be a resident in Malta for at least 6 years, due to PQ process
- Strong organisational skills and working independently
Education and Experience
- A Degree level of education
