Our client in the Insurance Industry is looking for an Insurance Officer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Claims:

Handling regular claims managed by insurance intermediaries and stakeholders
Verifying and approving claims
Performing internal controls inline with the company's framework

Complaints:

Managing and updating complaints registers
Understanding and investigating complains

Underwriting:

Reviewing of underwriting files and complaints
Assisting with monitoring products and developing new ones

Other:

Supporting in meetings with stakeholders and intermediaries
Supporting in admin and operational duties
Supporting in internal reports
Assisting in regulatory submissions
Assisting with internal and external audits
Supporting with any ad hoc duties related to the day to day

Requirements

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, in the Insurance Industry
Experience handling claims and complaints in the Insurance Industry
Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
Travelling is involved, to European countries

Education and Experience

Ideally having a CII Certificate or equivalent
