Commercial Lines Broker

We are partnering up with a well-established insurance company to recruit a Commercial Lines Broker as an addition to a growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and retain a portfolio of SME commercial lines clients across various industries
• Assess client risk exposures, coverage requirements and business needs to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Maintaining strong professional relationships and addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Negotiate terms, condition, and pricing with insurers to secure the most competitive and comprehensive coverage.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, renewals and policy reviews to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to collect necessary information and submit renewal terms within specified timelines.
• Handle mid-term policy changes and amendments as per client requests.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and branches to facilitate adjustments while maintaining policy compliance.
• Perform comprehensive checks on policies to ensure accuracy, completeness and ensure the policies were issued in line with the terms agreed with the client.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and other industry partners.
• Keep current with market trends, emerging risks and insurance product developments.

Requirements

• At minimum of 2 years of previous local experience in a similar role
• Candidate with personal lines or underwriting experience will also be considered
• Fluent in English

Education and Experience

• A qualification in Insurance will be considered an asset
