Senior Payroll Executive
Our client is looking for a Senior Payroll Executive to manage the payroll department with the help of the team.
Responsbilities:
Manage full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, leave, and other pay elements
Act as payroll expert, supporting HR, Finance, and employees
Handle statutory deductions, benefits, and payroll reporting
Resolve complex payroll queries with professionalism and discretion
Maintain and improve payroll systems (Talexio) and data accuracy
Ensure compliance with Maltese laws, tax, and SSC requirements
Identify risks or inefficiencies and suggest improvements
Support and guide junior team members when needed
Collaborate with HR and Finance to align payroll with company policies
Requirements
Previous significant experience in payroll within medium to large organizations.
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with payroll systems is required and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
