Our client, a Building Services Company is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Executive to join their growing team. This is a newly created role offering strong growth potential, where the selected candidate will handle the day-to-day HR function in a standalone capacity. Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:
Handle recruitment activities including job posting, CV screening, and interview scheduling
Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees
Prepare employment contracts and related HR documentation
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries
Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary matters
Promote and support a positive workplace culture
Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
Track attendance, leave, and performance data
Prepare HR reports and supporting documentation
Support compliance with labour laws and company HR policies
Assist in updating and developing HR policies and procedures
Coordinate training and development activities
Support performance appraisal processes
Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office-based.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ local experience in a senior HR role.
Good knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
Fluent in both Maltese and English (written and spoken)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
