Senior Human Resources Executive

  South of Malta  |  €36,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior HR Executive to join their expanding team. This role plays a key part in shaping and driving HR initiatives, with particular focus on learning and development, employee engagement, and organisational culture. The Senior Executive will collaborate closely with the HR leadership team to ensure initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively delivered, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programmes that build capability and support career growth across the organisation
  • Conduct training needs analysis, coordinate development initiatives, and monitor their impact on performance and engagement
  • Provide subject-matter expertise across wider HR functions to support business objectives
  • Monitor HR metrics, analyse trends, and provide insights to guide decisions
  • Support recruitment processes and employer branding strategies
  • Ensure HR policies are in line with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and recognition programmes
  • Actively contribute to strengthening a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive employee matters

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • Hold an excellent level of written and verbal Maltese and English.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a strategic HR role
  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements
  • Solid understanding of learning and development methodologies and employee engagement strategies, with the ability to align initiatives to business needs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage different stakeholders
  • Skilled in data analysis and HR metrics to track trends, measure effectiveness, and support decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive matters
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities independently, exercising sound judgment and accountability
  • Good knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and relevant policies; experience in CSR initiatives considered an asset

Education and Experience

  • Degree-level qualification in Human Resources, Management, or a related field (MQF Level 6) OR MQF Level 5 with relevant experience
