Our client, a leading operational firm, is looking to recruit a Recruitment Specialist to join their growing team. Reporting to the CPO, the chosen candidate will be responsible to:
- Partner with department managers to identify staffing requirements for security guards and clerical employees.
- Maintain recruitment pipelines to ensure timely fulfillment of manpower needs.
- Source candidates via online platforms, job boards, recruitment agencies, and referrals.
- Build and manage talent pools for high-demand roles.
- Represent the company at job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events.
- Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and manage candidate communication.
- Carry out pre-employment checks, including background verification, reference checks, and security clearance (where applicable).
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and joining instructions.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hires.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and databases.
- Ensure recruitment practices adhere to company policies, labor regulations, and industry standards.
- Track and report recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness).
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Education and Experience
- Educational MQF Level 5/6 in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset
- Proven experience (2+ years) in recruitment or talent acquisition both on a local and international scale.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Must be located in Malta with a strong understanding of the local market.
- Spoken and written proficiency in both Maltese and English .
