Payroll Specialist

  Central Malta  |  €23,000 - €28,000 Annually 

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist - The role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing Corporate Service Provider and be part of its expanding finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the monthly payroll process for a portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare employment documentation, including engagement forms for new hires and termination paperwork.
  • Handle client registrations with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and Jobsplus.
  • Register new employees with the IRD and Jobsplus in line with statutory requirements.
  • Process employee terminations, both local and foreign, with the IRD and Jobsplus.
  • Deliver continuous payroll support and advisory services to clients.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members in their day-to-day tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar payroll role
  • Completion of payroll-related courses will be considered an asset
  • Experience using Indigo will be preferred
