Our client within the Telecommunications industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join their HR team and ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll operations while supporting wider HR functions.
The Main Responsibilities include:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing using Indigo, including payslips, monthly FS5, annual FS7, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax, social security, and regulatory requirements, including handling claims for maternity/paternity benefits and social security funds.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS, payroll, and related platforms, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries regarding pay, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
- Support HR administration by preparing employment letters, monitoring leave and attendance, and assisting with HR policy implementation.
- Contribute to payroll audits, surveys, and financial reporting when required.
- Provide general support across HR initiatives, including team-building, wellness programmes, and social events.
- Assist Senior Management with additional tasks and contribute to departmental goals and improvements.

Requirements
- Proficiency in payroll systems (preferably Indigo Shireburn), Microsoft Office, and general HRIS/office tools.
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and social security contributions.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English, with the ability to explain payroll and benefits matters clearly.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines under pressure while working independently.
- Discreet and reliable when handling confidential information, with a proactive, people-focused attitude.
Education and Experience
- Payroll certification and/or a diploma in HR, Accounts, or a related field, with at least two years’ experience in payroll, HR, or a similar role.
