Our client, a leading financial institution in Malta is looking for an experienced a Learning & Development Manager leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership and strategic training programs within the academy and financial institution. This role focuses on identifying skill gaps, supporting strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning in collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify learning needs through collaboration with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Design and deliver leadership and strategic training using various methods (e-learning, workshops, coaching).
- Align L&D initiatives with organisational goals and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Manage external training providers and ensure quality delivery.
- Track KPIs, ROI, and analyse training data for reporting.
- Oversee L&D budgeting and ensure cost-effective training.
- Mentor team members and uphold high training standards.
- Maintain accurate HR system records and stay updated on L&D trends.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Proven local experience in L&D, Corporate Training, or Talent Development
- Proven success in designing and delivering effective training programmes
- Strong project management and prioritisation skills
- People-oriented, confident, and experienced in coaching and mentoring
- Proactive, hands-on, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Candidate must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
- Must hold an excellent level of written and verbal English
Education and Experience
- MQF Level 5 qualification in L&D, HR, Business Administration, or related field
