Human Resources Officer (Training & Development)

  South of Malta  |  €30,000 - €33,000 Annually 

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Recruitment, Training & Development Officer to join their Human Resources department. This full-time, office-based role, is crucial for managing the full recruitment cycle and ensuring effective training and development initiatives within the company. We are looking for someone who is driven, hard-working, collaborative, and demonstrates a no-procrastination approach to their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract motivated and competent employees.
  • Conduct training needs analysis, plan and coordinate various training programs, including induction and skills workshops.
  • Liaise with external training providers and ensure the quality and consistency of training delivery.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and ensure compliance with data storage regulations.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts in collaboration with marketing teams.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years proven working experience in a similar HR field.
  • Strong communication skills in Maltese and in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment techniques, and health & safety procedures.
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast passed environment.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a methodical and proactive approach.

Education and Experience

  • MQF Level 6 (Degree) qualification.
