Human Resources Manager

  Central Malta  |  €40,000 - €42,000 Annually 

Our client, one of the largest Company Service Provider in Malta are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will support the full HR lifecycle and contribute to the development and delivery of initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, performance, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement strategic HR projects aligned with business objectives, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, priorities, and key HR metrics.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and internal frameworks in line with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory and business changes and recommend appropriate HR strategies.
  • Optimise HR systems and processes, ensuring effective use of automation and resources.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people, organisational, and change management matters.
  • Lead and develop the HR team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Drive employee performance and development initiatives, including training and succession planning.
  • Oversee learning and development programmes and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Strengthen employer branding and support recruitment and onboarding strategies.
  • Represent the organisation externally through events and professional networking where appropriate.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ local experience in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law, HR practices, and payroll principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Maltese considered an asset).
  • Strong report writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in HR or a related field.
