We are looking for a strategic and people-oriented HR Manager to oversee all human resources practices and processes within our organization. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our workplace culture, ensuring that our talent management, employee relations, and compliance frameworks are not only legally sound but also foster a high-performance environment.
As the primary point of contact for HR matters, you will align people strategies with business goals, providing critical insights to management while championing a positive and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Management: Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies, managing the hiring lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding and induction programs.
Employee Relations: Act as the trusted point of contact for employee concerns, handling grievances and disciplinary procedures with discretion and professionalism.
Performance & Development: Design and oversee performance appraisal systems, supporting managers in creating development plans and identifying training needs to encourage continuous growth.
Compliance & Policies: Ensure full compliance with Maltese employment legislation, including recent 2025/2026 updates regarding pay transparency and leave entitlements. You will also maintain employee records in strict accordance with GDPR.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll coordination and manage employee benefit programs, ensuring salaries remain competitive through regular benchmarking within the Maltese market.
Strategic HR: Drive organizational change initiatives and provide data-driven HR reporting to the leadership team to help steer business growth.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Maltese Labour Law, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive and work permit processes for Third-Country Nationals (TCNs).
Proficient with HR systems (HRIS) and payroll processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability in conflict resolution and people management.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
