Our client, operating within the retail industry is seeking to recruit a highly organised HR Manager. The primary aim of this role is to lead and manage the Human Resources department, providing both strategic and operational HR support. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company’s culture and comply with current employment legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support management with HR strategies, presentations, and data analysis.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
- Oversee employee relations, disciplinary cases, and compliance with employment laws.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and staff records.
- Manage work permits and documentation for third-country nationals.
- Track attendance, leave, and assist with payroll data.
- Conduct appraisals, performance reviews, and manage staff development.
- Support organisational changes and drive a positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies in collaboration with the H&S Coordinator.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Previous local experience in a Management position.
- Understanding Maltese Employment Law and best HR practices.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Indigo Shireburn is considered an asset.
Education and Experience
- MQ5 Level or higher in Human Resources and Employment Law will be considered an asset.
