Our client, a leading group of companies in Malta, is looking to onboard a Human Resources Executive to assist in the day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop recruitment strategies and job advertisements, source, screen, and shortlist candidates
Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with recruitment partners and job portals
Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
Prepare and maintain employee records, contracts, probation documentation, work permits, and statutory filings
Coordinate training requests and conduct training needs analyses to support employee development
Provide accurate and timely payroll-related documentation and support employee payroll and attendance queries
Coordinate performance appraisal processes and issue development plans where required
Manage daily HR operations, maintain accurate employee data, and recommend process improvements
Support strategic HR initiatives, coordinate employee engagement and team-building activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote employee development and career growth
Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with employment legislation, EU directives, and regulatory requirements, remaining up to date with changes in employment law
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR position
Capable to operate in a standalone position with minimal supervision
Proficient in work permit applications and employment laws
Must be fluent on Maltese & English both written & verbal
