We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HR Executive to manage HR functions and ensure the smooth running of the human resources operations. The HR Executive will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, HR records, performance management, compliance, and other administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Post job advertisements, screen resumes, and schedule interviews
• Coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers
• Conduct reference checks and issue employment contracts
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programs
Employee Relations
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances
• Support conflict resolution and ensure workplace harmony
• Foster a positive working environment
HR Operations
• Maintain and update employee records (both digital and physical)
• Prepare HR-related letters and documentation (e.g., offer letters, termination letters)
• Manage attendance, leave records, and payroll data coordination
Performance Management
• Assist in the implementation of performance evaluation processes
• Help in setting KPIs and tracking employee performance
Compliance & Policy Administration
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and regulations
• Assist in audits and other statutory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
Requirements:
• A relevant qualification in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as an HR Executive or similar role (1–3 years preferred)
• Familiarity with HRMS/HRIS systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of Maltese labor laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
