Our client operates as a Group of Companies and is looking to recruit a Human Resources Executive to join their growing team. Reporting to the department's Manager and Director, the chosen candidate will be responsible to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees to voice concerns or complaints, investigating those complaints impartially, and working towards resolution while ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies.;
- Identify staffing needs, review resumes, conduct interviews, and extend job offers to suitable candidates;
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and assist in creating development plans to help employees reach their potential;
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including personal details, performance evaluations, training records, and any disciplinary actions;
- Collaborate on various HR initiatives such as policy development, diversity and inclusion efforts, or employee engagement programs;
- Handle complex HR issues or grievances that require higher-level intervention, ensuring fair and consistent resolution;
- Serve as a bridge between employees and their supervisors, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns or misunderstandings;
- Work with both management and employees to foster a positive work environment, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention;
- Develop strong relationships with employees based on trust, respect, and professionalism, ensuring a supportive and inclusive workplace culture;
- Ensure that all new employees receive comprehensive onboarding to integrate them into the company culture and familiarize them with policies, procedures, and expectations;
- Support payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations;
- Assist with the implementation and transition of payroll systems, including data migration and ensuring a smooth transition process.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Maltese and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, with experience in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance
