Our client, a household name in manufacturing, is looking to engage an HRBP.
The HR Business Partner works closely with Line Managers to implement and support HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with business goals and legal standards. The role provides full HR generalist support to a business unit, managing daily HR operations and contributing to key annual HR cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main HR contact for the assigned business unit, offering guidance, coaching, and direction to managers and employees.
- Support managers in applying HR policies and handling issues such as performance, absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
- Coordinate with Occupational Health to minimize health-related risks within the business.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, ensuring compliance and reducing legal risks.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including visa applications for TCNs, and oversee employee training and development.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Partner with management to identify employee development and training needs.
- Ensure HR data and systems are accurate, current, and efficiently managed.
- Prepare and contribute to weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Support key HR processes such as pay reviews, talent reviews, and performance appraisals, driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team on various HR initiatives and projects.
- Promote employee engagement and support related activities, including employee surveys and action planning.
Requirements
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level in order to develop excellent stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive approach with demonstrable levels of previous continuous improvement and experience of leading and supporting change.
- Organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a challenging and busy workload.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally working within a similar industry.
- Extensive experience across all areas of HR, including employee relations, grievance and disciplinary management, absence control, consultation, recruitment and selection, training, compensation and benefits, and talent management. Demonstrated ability to implement people practices that support commercial objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or in a similar field.
