We are seeking an experienced HR Team Leader to be managing workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and training to support operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing HR Officers and admin staff, ensuring team performance within HR and alignment with company goals.
- Collaborating with managers to assess workforce needs and plan staffing strategies.
- Addressing employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, and performance concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labour regulations.
- Designing and delivering training programs to enhance skills and support career growth.
- Facilitating performance management, career development, and succession planning.
- Overseeing recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
- Developing initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
- Conducting feedback sessions and analysing exit interviews to improve retention.
- Carrying out additional tasks, prioritising health, safety, and compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or in a related setting
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and health and safety regulations
- Good command of English & Maltese
