HR & Payroll Officer

  Central Malta  |  €21,000 - €23,000 Annually 

A leading group of companies in Malta are looking for an HR & Payroll Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for companies within the group, including salaries, wages, pensions, overtime, and allowances.
  • Manage employee onboarding, terminations, leave, and absences.
  • Maintain accurate HR and payroll system records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment regulations.
  • Prepare reports and HR data for management, supporting decision-making and KPI tracking.
  • Oversee Time & Attendance schedules and provide department support.
  • Assist with end-of-year submissions, payroll audits, and outsourced service processing.
  • Support other HR functions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, A-Level standard of education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of payroll, ideally within an HR environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Maltese.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong ICT skills and attention to detail.
