A well-established client of ours, operating in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a highly organized and experienced HR & Operations Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, and assisting with operations within our company as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and some exposure to operations management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employee
- Oversee employee benefits and compensation programs
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection laws
- Manage employee relations and address any conflicts or concerns
- Develop and implement training and development programs for employees
- Create and maintain budgets for HR departments - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR and operations management
- Monitor and assist with general operational matters together with the relevant internal stakeholders as necessary, outside of the HR function
Requirements
- Fluency in Maltese and English is a must
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations is a must
- Prior experience in operations is a plus
