HR Manager

  Central Malta  |  €50,000 - €55,000 Annually 

Our client is seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programmes that support and enhance the experience of the people within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and department leaders, to ensure HR strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive, end-to-end talent strategies tailored to the needs of different companies and business units, covering recruitment, retention, employee development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret HR data to provide insights and recommendations that enable effective, data-driven decision-making and strategic interventions.
  • Guide and support leaders, managers, and teams through organisational changes, ensuring effective communication, smooth transitions, and an employee-centred approach.
  • Promote and embed diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and respect across all levels of the organisation.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning by implementing training and development programmes that foster professional growth at every level.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee relations matters, resolving issues with fairness, discretion, and in alignment with company values.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary or post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in Human Resources, including proven leadership or managerial experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment legislation and best HR practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups and foster an inclusive workplace.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to navigate new challenges efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
