HR Manager

  North of Malta  |  €42,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit an HR Manager to focus on the Hospitality side of the business. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the chosen candidate will:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Human Resources department and maintain all HR processes effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
  • Monitor departmental rosters and staffing schedules, ensuring alignment with approved labor budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with departmental managers and staff at all levels.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving employee productivity, engagement, and overall performance.
  • Assess employee development needs and lead the design and implementation of training initiatives.
  • Identify and organize appropriate training programs to support skill enhancement and career growth.
  • Conduct annual training needs assessments and follow through with development planning.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to managers, supervisors, and team leads involved in staff development.
  • Champion and embody the organization’s values and desired workplace culture in all HR practices.
  • Participate in duty management responsibilities as per the duty roster.
  • Carry out any other duties or special projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, trustworthy, and discrete, with the ability to manage confidential business information.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospitality/hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, workforce planning, and hospitality operations.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages will be given preferences.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Experience with hotel management software is a plus.
